CARS 2008 Computer Assisted Radiology and Surgery
22nd International Congress and Exhibition
June 25 - 28, 2008
Barcelona, Spain
CALL FOR PAPERS
for the 2008 Annual Meetings of ISCAS, EuroPACS, CAR, CMI, and CAD
http://www.cars-int.org/
Goal
CARS is the premier annual international meeting for professionals with interest in new developments of computer assisted medical systems and their applications in radiology and surgery. The congress and exhibition concentrate on advances in medical imaging, PACS and networking systems in health care, computer assisted diagnosis and therapy, surgical robotics and instrumentation, image and model guided therapy as well as related imaging based technologies. CARS also emphasises the electronic medical record (EMR) and its integration into radiological and surgical settings. Abstracts of all peer-reviewed lecture and poster presentations will be included in the proceedings, a supplement of the International Journal of CARS, which will provided to all congress participants at the meeting. Paper contributions will be included in regular issues of the International Journal of CARS.
Congress format
The four-day congress consists of invited talks by internationally recognized experts, approx. 200 paper presentations, as well as exhibits and posters. Special focus sessions as well as product exhibits in the industrial exhibition are planned to give participants access to hot topics and new CARS-related products.
